Vax Blade 2 Max Review

A few weeks ago we were sent the Vax Blade Max 2 for review, I've been giving it a good try out and am reporting back what I think of it. I've given all the elements of the cordless vacuum the once over and I have to say I love it. The fact its cordless is a massive bonus or me and I can run around the house with it and not worry about tripping over the wires. The vacuum when fully charged has a run time of 45 minutes, which is plenty of time to do my whole 3-bed house, with time to spare.
As well as the vacuum, Vax kindly sent us the cordless pro kit to complement the vacuum and give us all round cleaning action. With 1 husband, 4 kids and a dog to clean up after I need all of the help, I can possibly get. I unboxed this on my Youtube channel so you can get a closer look and see a demo of the machine in action.

The Vax Blade 2 Max has almost 3 times more suction power than any cordless vacuum Vax have ever produced, the Vax Blade 2 Max 40V is proven to clean carpets better than the UK’s top 10 cordless vacuums! A bold claim, but after testing it out I have to agree!! It offers the cleaning performance of the best-corded uprights but in a sleek, lightweight design. The specially designed floorhead complements the powerful brushless motor, ensuring optimal pick up on all floor surfaces. It literally glides from hard floor to carpeted surfaces.
The unique twin helix brushbar technology is optimised and designed to work at 4200RPM to maximise pick up performance. This is paired with the Vax core processor that monitors power up to 1000 times a second, helping to give you the best performance possible on both carpet and hard floor. You can feel the power as soon as you switch it on when you use the boost function it's on another level! I use the boost on my rug, as it gives me real deep down cleaning, it looked brand new once vacuumed. If you watch the video above you will see the dirt and dust it picked up.
The Vax Blade 2 Max's new Brushless DC Motor is designed to maximise cleaning efficiency and performance. The 40V maintains constant high pick-up performance even when the battery is low. Most vacuums lose power as the battery is low, this gives you power and performance right till the end. You would think with all the power and performance it would be heavy but in actual fact, it's really comfortable to hold. Its a really versatile vacuum, you can use it with the included stick attachment or remove that and use with just the brush head, which is perfect for cleaning the stairs.
The pro toolkit is the perfect addition for all around cleaning, the kit costs £50 but if you buy the Blade direct with Vax at the moment you get it free. The attachments all click onto the blade unit, you can combine the flexi and stretch as one and use to clean up high. My favourite is the textile tool, its perfect for cleaning my fabric sofa, my Mum loves the dust tool for doing the skirting boards!!

The Vax Blade 2 Max is an impressive vacuum, combined with the pro toolkit I can clean every nook and cranny of my house. You can buy it directly from the Vax Website priced at £249, it comes with the pro toolkit at the moment too.
