Fisher-Price Imaginext DC Super Friends BatBot Xtreme

I had a very excited 6-year old on my hands when the Imaginext Batbot Xtreme arrived at our door! He looks impressive before he is even out of the box, standing at over 2 foot tall. The Imaginext label always excites Mr C as he knows he is getting a quality toy to try out.
The Imaginext DC Super Friends Batbot Xtreme is the ultimate toy for Batman fans. With extendable wings, multiple projectile launchers, a hidden Batcycle, a voice changer, and real punching fists, your young Super Hero will have a blast defending Gotham City from all sorts of evil Super-Villain attacks!
At over two-feet tall, the Batbot Xtreme towers over the enemies of Gotham City. Cody was well impressed with his towering heights he's never seen a toy so big. With the turn of a Power Pad on the shoulders, you can send the robot into battle mode, extending its wings and arms and preparing for action. The wings are a HUGE 3ft wide. You can then squeeze the triggers on the back of the Batbot to give those bad guys a super-charged, one-two punch! I think this maybe Cody's favourite feature, he found the triggers a bit stiff, but they will loosen up with use.
Turn the Power Pad on the robot's left shoulder to open his chest to reveal the hidden elevator that will take Batman up to the cockpit, where he can launch a counterattack. The lift shaft slides up and down easily. The other power pad operates the missile projectors, for some real battle action.
Press the launch buttons on the robot's shoulders to fire projectiles. The missiles fly quite far and the combination of pointed missiles and round missiles is fab. The kids can add their unique voice to the Batbot Xtreme with the super cool voice changer. Activated when you press the button.
The Batbot xtreme is bound to be a must want this Christmas for all Imaginext fans. It goes alongside all the other Imaginext sets perfectly and you can even use your existing mini figures with the set. The retails at £124.99 but can be picked up for around £80 if you shop around. I do think this is a lot of money, but it's extremely well made. Cody loves it and hasn't put it down since it arrived. It great for imaginative play too, so you will get your monies worth. Go check out our Youtube video where you can see the toy in more detail.
