Slimming World Weigh in Week 35

After last week's surprise loss, I was spurred on the keep to plan this past week. I think I did really well; staying on track and made a pledge to start exercising again. I use my fit bit to keep me on track and ensure I hit my green target zones each and every day. I have also started to up my water intake each day and found a lovely water bottle that holds 700mls per bottle, so 3 bottles is my 2 litre goal but I have been having 4 or 5 taking me way over that goal.

This week I even had a takeaway with the hubby, but kept it Slimming World friendly. I opted for boiled rice and I had a chicken tikka starter, which was just chicken chunks with tikka flavouring, so oil and no sauce. I don't know what the syn value actually was but it was delicious. All other meals were on plan and I stayed within my syns each day...... Until Saturday!! The weekends are turning into my arch nemesis and I continually fall off the wagon! This week I'm blaming Easter chocolate, but ultimately it's me who just can't control myself. I headed to group last night and while waiting to be weighed a few of us had similar stories, we just couldn't resist the temptation of that Easter Bunny. The results on the scales last night were........
I'm glad of a very small gain, I will gracefully take it on the chin. As I mentioned above I want to increase my exercise daily, without the need to go to the gym every day. So after a browse on Youtube, I found a fab HITT workout. I completed my first one this morning and I really enjoyed it. I think it's going to work for me, its short 20 seconds intense exercise followed by a 10 second break. You complete each exercise 4 times and there are 3 different exercises in each circuit. From what I can see, there are different intensity levels, but for me a 5 minute warm-up and a 10 minute work out on top of my 10'000 steps is a real good start.
Start Weight - 20 stone 5lbs
Current Weight - 17st 11lbs
Target Weight - 16 stone (interim target)
This Weeks Result - 0.5lb gain
Total Weight Loss - 2 stone 7lbs
This Weeks Goal -  3lbs loss
