Welcome to day 11 of #blogtober16, today I have been asked to tell you about my favourite type of animal. Day 10 was all about the 1 item I cannot live without, make sure you go and have a read.
Now I have always been a cat person, I was brought up with cats and loved them. At one point we had 3 cats. they are such loving creatures and always happy to sit on your lap for a stroke. I still do love cats but 10 months ago we got a new family member and I fell in love! Our little doggy has been a lovely addition to our family and I now have a new favourite animal. I never thought I would be a dog person, I have always liked them but that's as far as it went till Honey came along.
Honey is a pugzu, she is an active pup and demands at least 2 walks a day when she's not walking she can be found doing this LOL. She is 10 months old now and she is a pug cross shit zhu, when we got her we were told she was a pug cross beagle, but she doesn't have a sniff of beagle about her. Our main reason for getting a dog was for Mr D, to help regulate his moods. She is the best decision we made and all the family love her. She is a little bit crazy, so she fits in well with our crazy bunch! There is a lot of information about in regards to pets for therapy with autism and she has made such a difference to our children. Even Miss S who was very unsure of Honey at first, she now loves her to.
