#BackToSchool With Chatham Footwear

For the past 24 years , Chatham has traded on the weekend sailor and has grown into one of Britain's key marine clothing and footwear brands. The promise quality, durability, marine aesthetics and good all round performance. In 2014 they won UK Outdoor Footwear Brand of the year at the Footwear Industry Awards.
When it comes to school shoes I always believe if you buy quality they will last. What is the point in buying a cheap pair and having to replace them every few weeks? If you spent that bit extra in the beginning they will last that much longer. Chatham has sent us a pair of their Anchor Shoes for Mr C to try out for size.
The anchor children's boat shoe in classic black makes the perfect school shoe option. The classic deck shoe styling with a  simple velcro fastening are perfect for Mr C. He still struggles with laces, so at 5 they are still a no-no. I love how they look and you can tell by just looking that they are super quality.
The soles of the shoes are really thick and well cut and I really like the 2 colours of the sole. They look like they will withstand a lot of wear and tear. The rubber soles are razor cut for a really clean edge cut and they are really chunky.
The anchor shoe fitted Mr C really well, he has quite wide feet and fitting can be a problem. The anchor fitted comfortably and the sizing is really good all round. The chunky sole means the shoe is a bit higher from the ground and means his school trousers won't trail onto the ground, which is a lifesaver. As the shoe is leather they will be really easy to clean and buff up on a daily basis. The anchor shoe is available to buy via the clickable link above and retail at £39, they are also available in navy and brown.
