Nancy Dolls Review

We have spent the weekend having lots of fun with some lovely Nancy dolls from Bandai. The Nancy range was first launched by Famosa in 1968, she is the leading fashion doll in Spain. But now she's ready to come over to England to make some new friends.
Today Nancy is a modern girl with lots of hobbies and interests, she is sweet, pretty and supportive. She likes to dress up, have adventures and take care of her pets. She is bigger than most fashion dolls standing at 42cms and there are 5 dolls in the range to choose from, we have been sent 2 of them to try out.
The first Nancy doll is from the World Adventures range, you can choose between London, Paris, Rio and New York when you buy. Each doll has a different outfit and accessories and the World Adventure dolls retail at £29.99. We were sent the New York Doll, who comes with some cool blue accessories and has beautiful long brown curly hair.
Alongside the doll who is fashionably dressed in her black and grey combo you also get her pull along dog carrier, her little white dog, Nancy's diary that holds her tablet, passport, diary and notepad, she also has a cool blue shoulder bag. The big diary clips onto the dog carrier so it can all be pulled along together. Miss S really enjoyed playing with this doll. She loved the little dog and its carry case, she used some of the stickers on the dog carry case and on Nancy's diary. It is a great sized doll for a child of Miss S's age as its a larger size. She was easily able to interact with the doll without anything being too fiddly. I was really impressed with the quality of the doll and the accessories, they are all really well made. I think we will definitely be adding to our World Adventures collection for Miss S's birthday next month.
The Nancy Braids doll retails at £19.99 and is a more hands on doll, it is just perfect for engaging Miss S's fine motor skills. The doll comes dressed in a lovely bright outfit and has long blonde hair. You get a funky hair braider, some elastics and hair clips to use in your dolls hair. Miss S was straight in there when we unboxed this doll, its great for her as she loves to play with hair, its one of her sensory pleasures. She was easily able to use the hair braider and she didn't find the little clips tricky at all. The hair is really silky so just glides through your fingers. I was really impressed with Nancy's hair as it doesn't get all knotted up like some other dolls we have, so we know we will get plenty of play opportunities with her.
We love both the Nancy Dolls we have been sent for review and would definitely recommend them for your doll loving children. If you don't fancy the World Adventure or Braids dolls then you also have the Pink Princess at £24.99, Dolphins at £26.99 and Flowers at £16.99. You are sure to find one to suit your child's personality, you can find the Nancy range in The Entertainer, ToysRUs, Very and Amazon.
