Brewbarrel Review & Giveaway

Now this next review is just the perfect gift for Fathers Day, if the Dad in your life likes a pint! The Brewbarrel is a homebrew kit which you can have your own custom mad perfect pint ready in just a week!
The kit comes with everything you need, and when you order you can customise your brew. You have the choice of 5 beer styles pilsner, lager, wheat beer. pale ale and dark beer. You then have the choice of 3 hops styles mild, standard and bitter. Finally, you can flavour your beer with the choice of 7 different flavours lemon, grapefruit, oak timber, honey, bourbon timber and mango. Your full kit will be £25 unflavoured and up to £28 flavoured. We chose a standard lager brewbarrel as Mr RTR doesn't really like flavoured beers.
The brewing process will take a week in total. The kit comes with a really easy to follow guide on how to brew your beer. The first day you mix your ingredients with the specified amount of hot and cold water and pop in a cool place for 5 days. The barrel then needs to go in the fridge for the final 2 days of the process and it's ready to drink.
Before pulling your first pint you need to depressurize your barrel, this is really simple to do by pulling the red valve up on the top of your barrel. The brewbarrel has a built in tap that you just need to pull and turn to pour your pint. I couldn't believe how simple the whole process was and Mr RTR really enjoyed the beer!
