Healthy snacking with Kallo

Since I started my weight loss journey I have been adding to my healthy snack cupboard, previous to getting healthy my snack cupboard was full of naughtiness! I have heard lots about Kallo but hadn't really tried out much of the range. Kallo kindly sent me some of the range to try out and keep me on the healthy track.
Kallo, don’t think eating sensibly has to mean saying no to the things you love. Life is about what you can, not what you can’t have – and eating the right way is about loving food and having a nutritious, balanced diet. That’s why they have reinvented the rice cake and created a range of organic stock cubes and other delightful foodie things that are made using the finest natural ingredients and embrace their fab food philosophy.
The quinoa & seeds multigrain rice cakes are only 38 calories per rice cake. I have heard lots about quinoa but never tried it. I love the crunch in these rice cakes and they are yummy with a smearing of cottage cheese on top. They are only 38 calories per rice cake and a really good source of fibre, perfect for adding to your lunch or just as a snack.
If you have a sweet tooth like me, you can't go wrong with the milk chocolate thins with caramel pieces. I could happily sit nd eat these all day, but that wouldn't be too good for my diet. Everything in moderation they say and these chocolate snacks are only 65 calories, perfect for a little sweet treat to keep you on the wagon.
The lightly salted rice cakes are really low at only 26 calories, they are completely plain tasting, so they ar great for doing what you want with. They are really yummy with peanut butter and sliced banana on top. If you fancy a savoury option the lightly salted flavour goes great with cheese and pickle.
I love a good packet of crips as a snack, but needed to trade them in and these sundried tomato and herb rice cakes are a good alternative. The entire bag is only 91 calories and they taste lovely, as they are individually bagged they are great for chucking in your handbag or lunch box. If sundried tomato isn't your thing they are also available in 3 other flavours including chocolate covered.

Kallo are availble to buy in most major supermarket with prices starting from as litle ay 69p, so why not try some yourself and get some healthy snack action.
