Christmas Clothing from Tesco

We always go all out on Christmas Day, we all get a shiny new outfit, its the law! I love the range available at Tesco's and I have been able to choose a few items for the children for the Christmas season and with a budget of £40 I have 3 of the children kitted to for Christmas day.
I found choosing the items I wanted for the children really hard as the choice was so large. I literally went back and forth hundreds of times. In the end I decided to add everything I liked for the 3 children to my shopping basket so I could come up with a short list. I knew I wanted Christmas jumpers for the boys, we bought elsewhere last year and they didn't last the Christmas period, they were really poor quality. I had been told about the quality of the Tesco ones, so knew it would be jumpers for the boys. They will look great with a pair of chinos or jeans. It had to be a dress for my princess, but I didn't want a traditional red Christmas dress. I wanted something she could wear after Christmas as well. So after much deliberation here are my choices.
Ho Ho Ho Christmas Jumper - from £6
I loves the Santa hat print on this jumper for Mr C and green really suits him and was the deciding factor in getting him this jumper. It is available in sizes 5-6 right the way up to ages 13-14, so if your children let you, you can get all matching! Its a really soft cosy knit and the collar and sleeves are ribbed which gives them added strength. Its 100% acrylic so it can be bunged in the washing machine along with all your other washing, no need for a special wool cycle. Mr C is aged 4 and I opted for the age 5-6 jumper as it was the smallest size available. I thought it maybe a bit big put it fits perfectly and even has a little room to grow, as you can see from Mr C's smile he loves his new Christmas jumper.
Elf Christmas Jumper - from £8
I loved this elf jumper as soon as I saw it, with white snowflakes down the arms and white rim running all around the bottom. I love that the elfs body runs up to the collar of the jumper so your head popping though is meant to be the elfs head! I really need to get a Christmas hat for Mr D to complete the ultimate Christmas look. This jumper is also available from aged 5 up to age 13 and machine washable like the one above.
Jewel Embellished Skater Dress - From £10
Patent T-Bar Shoe - From £9
Black Patterned Tights - From £3
I love this skater dress as it has the red colouring which is great for Christmas, the jewels give it some sparkle and its something that Miss S will be able to wear again as it can easily be dressed down. I love the houndstooth jacquard design and the dress has a soft stretch to it, so will be really easy and comfortable to wear. It is a nice knee length and has 3 quarter sleeves, which are perfect for the autumn/winter months. I teamed it with the 40 denier patterned tights, they come in a pack of 2 for only £4, which is a great price. I love the subtle pattern on them, they look lovely with the dress. I topped the outfit off with the amazing patent t bar shoes. They really complete the outfit and the shiny patent really brings out the jewel embellishment on the dress. The shoes are available from size C4 up to C11, they have a pretty floral lining and a cushioned collar for added comfort. I am sure Miss S will happily keep these on her feet all day.

Do you have Christmas clothing traditions? What do you think of my choices from Tescos, make sure you pop on over and check out the fab Christmas clothing range.

  5. The jumpers are fun, and the dress is very pretty. I know what you mean with wanting something to last longer than just the day, especially as they'll probably be too big to wear it again next year so it literally is a day! I like the Fairisle stuff for this reason, can get away with wearing a good deal longer, the same with penguins and polar bears (as long as they're not wearing Santa hats!) xx
