Slimming World Week 6 Weigh In

Off the back of last weeks shock 3.5lb loss following a really crap week I was motivated and ready to get that final pound and get my stone badge. I was completely on plan this week, I even exercised, moved more and didnt over syn, So I was really positive going into weigh in and looking forward to getting that badge!

So it was a bit of a shock to see a lb gain on the scales!

I always stay for the group and I got the chance to speak to my consultant about my week. I always log my food and I am very honest in what I log, for instance if I have chilli, I don't just write chilli I individually log the ingredients. All my meals where on plan and I didn't go over my syn allowance on any of the days. I went swimming twice and have logged at least 10'000 steps each day. I just don't get it, but I am not going to dwell on it and I WILL get that much wanted stone badge next week!!

  1. Last week was a surprise loss so maybe this is your body catching up if that makes sense? Tiny fluctuations in the body can have a big impact as long as you know you're doing the right thing then keep at it

  3. I think it may very well be your body catching up from the previous week as the others have suggested - but I bet you will get that goal next week though - good luck

  4. Some weeks you can just end up with blips and you can't see what it is that has happened. I know when I first started SW being a girl and those kind of monthly things would push up the scales even if i was 101% on plan. As the others have commented sometimes there is just a lag and so it's worth looking back to the previous week to see if there were hiccups there. Thanks for joining in the Link Up

  5. Awr no :( I agree with others, it may be your body catching up from the previous week, or maybe it is your star week?
    This is a bad omen for me as we have been pretty much the same all the way through, I bet I put 1lb on this week too haha!

I agree with what everyone has said above and it is probably just your body catching up from the week before, sometimes when I have had a bad week I have a big loss then the next week I maintain or have a small gain. My consultant always says that you need to give your body two weeks to get use to what you have ate as sometimes it takes two weeks for a gain or loss to show on the scales. I am sure you will have a fantastic loss this week to make up for last weeks gain and I bet you get that stone award too xx

  7. I've had really awful weeks and lost, then really good weeks but gained. I do believe a lot of it comes down to the time of the month, weather, water retention...

  8. I really hope you get your stone award next week! I have had weeks where I have completely stuck to plan and gained too. I think it happens to everyone, its just having the determination to carry on i guess. Thanks for linking up #swsunday
