The Snowman and the Snowdog

Now I know it may seem a little premature talking about Christmas, but it is August, infact it is almost September. If you have 4 children like me then it is never to early for a little planning and shopping! The lovely people over at Penwizard got in touch and offer me a copy of The Snowman and the Snowdog, retail price £17.99 in paperback and £24.99 in hardback, the perfect item for Mr C's Christmas box.
The great thing with all Penwizard books is the ability to personalise your story and make it truly for your child. This particular book gets the personalised feel from the very start with the starring role being given to the child. During the design process you get to choose the child's hair colour, skin tone and the colour of the pyjamas he is wearing. You also have the option of including a personalised message on the front inside cover.
I was really pleased with the finish of the book, the front and back covers are full colour matt laminate. The illustration is lovely and I love the story. It tells the story of when a child's dog grows old and dies, all they want is for a new friend to play with. Their wish comes true when the Snowman and Snowdog he builds comes to life. They go on an epic adventure flying through the air, its the perfect magical Christmas story.
I know Mr C is going to love this book when he sees it in his Christmas box and I can't wait to read it to him. I think he will love that that little boy looks like him and I'm going to make sure that he has some green plaid pyjamas in his box to!
The Snowman and the Snowdog is just one of many titles available, from potty training books, Frozen personalised book and Ben & Holly My Birthday book, perfect for any occasions.

  3. I love this book! Don't worry about talking about Christmas in August! I am already cross stitching my family Christmas cards so they will be ready in plenty of time before I hand them out in December! By the beginning of September Christmas will be starting to appear in the shops so not long!
