As I am running a back to school feature over the summer holidays Bic offered to send me a few sample items from the great range available. They have all your stationery needs covered, whether your starting primary school, getting ready for your GCSE's or off to university. They are a well know brand and even though it was over 15 years ago since I left school I still remember using Bic products when I was at school.
I love this Bic 4 colours charm pen, its got the same medium retractable ball pen feature as it did all those years ago with a new modern twist. The rounded purple barrel is cushioned for comfort and it holds 4 ink colours but in funky pink, purple, turquoise and lime green. It also has a lovely love heart charm on the top, this pen retails at £2.99. This has sneakily made its way into my pen pot as I have claimed it as my own, sure the children won't mind :)
Another item from the pen collection are these Bic Cristal Fun ball pens, sold in packs of 10 for £3.99. The pens write as smooth as the original Bic Cristal but have funky shades of pink, turqoise, lime green and purple. The lids and end caps are all colour coordinated so they look pretty cool to, I think these will be great for Mr D's school projects with their bright colours.
My younger gang drive me crackers breaking crayons when using them and these turn and colour crayons are perfect for combatting this problem. They come in a pack of 12 and the rounded end means you won't need to sharpen them. The plastic body protects the crayon and when it gets blunt you just twist them end and more crayon pops out. They retail at £7.90 per pack of 12 crayons.
The last item we received were the plastidecor crayons priced at £2.99 for a pack of 12. These crayoned are easy to hold thanks to their triangular shape. They are ideal for children aged over 30 months and are recommended by teachers. They are slightly more chunky than a standard crayon to so shouldn't break as easy. The colours are really bright to, I think Miss S will love using these to colour in, they look like they will withstand her heavy grip.
You can see these and the rest of the range on the clickable Bic link above, you can also follow along on Facebook and Twitter for the latest Bic news.
