I have fond memories of being a little girl and sitting for hours on end playing with Barbies, when I was to old to play I sat and played with my little sister who was lucky enough to have the Barbie Mansion house, and now I'm and adult I get to play all over again. You may have seen the Barbie Rainbow Hair Makeover Doll we reviewed for Mattel back in May, and we have the pleasure of reviewing for them again.
Barbie and her friends each have a different look, personality and sense of style. Each of the Fashionista dolls is unique in her look and style and there are 14 different facial sculpts, 8 skin tones, 18 eye colours, 22 hair styles and 23 hair colours. Their clothing is globally inspired so your sure to find one that your child will love. Priced at only £7.99 they aren't going to break the bank either, due to small parts the dolls are only suitable for ages 5+
Being a Fashionista means Barbie stands with style, you can have her legs straight or crossed at the ankles, she can even have her hand on her hips. In her Be Yourself t shirt, hot pink pencil, black clutch bag and black killer heels, she's definitely got style!
She has made a lovely addition to Miss S's collection and she seems to really like her, she loves that she can take her shoes on and off. She likes to put the shoes on her fingers, Miss S really likes sensory stimulation, and the Fashionista doll offers a lot, the hot pink pencil skirt offers visual stimulation, the clutch back has a lovely texture and Miss S loves to run her fingers up and down it. The fact that all her accessories are removable offer a great chance for some fine motor skills practice.
The Barbie Fashionista is a great addition to any child's Barbie collection, and as you can see she definitely gets a big thumbs up from Miss S.
